Inspect & Verify

Never buy a car blind. Arrange to meet the seller in a safe, public place and bring a trusted mechanic to inspect the vehicle.

• Fresh Imports: Verify the import documents, auction sheet, and true mileage.

• Locally Used: Perform an NTSA TIMS search using the registration plates to verify the true owner and check for caveats.

Sign Paperwork

Once satisfied with the condition and ownership, agree on the final price. Draft and sign a legally binding motor vehicle sale agreement. Ensure both parties have copies of their IDs and KRA PINs for the NTSA transfer process.

Pay and Drive

Safety First: Never pay in advance! Only transfer funds via bank transfer or verified methods once you have seen the car, verified the NTSA details, and signed the paperwork.
