Safety Tips
- •Avoid upfront payments. Never send money via M-PESA or any other method before physically viewing the vehicle.
- •Meet in a secure location. Always arrange to meet in a busy public place such as a shopping mall, police station, or a verified car yard.
- •Request a test drive. If possible, take the vehicle for a test drive to assess its performance and overall condition.
- •Inspect before you buy. Have the vehicle checked by a qualified mechanic to confirm its condition before making any payment.
- •Verify ownership records. For locally used vehicles, cross-check the car’s registration and ownership details with NTSA to ensure legitimacy.
